The kitchen that kept its floor
Equipment goes in while the family is still living there. Air movers across the assembly, a low-grain dehumidifier pulling the room down, meters read twice a day until the numbers stop moving.
Rochester, Minnesota and La Crosse, Wisconsin. Family owned since 1987.
One company, two speeds. The same crew that hand-washes an heirloom rug through seventeen steps on the bench is the crew that is at your door inside an hour when the basement floods.
Emergency response
60
The front office keeps ordinary hours. The restoration side does not. A flood or a fire at two in the morning reaches a person on (507) 580-0580, and two offices across two states means one of them is usually close.
From our own jobs
Every image on this page came off our own camera on a real job in Rochester or La Crosse. There is no stock here and no invented before-and-after.
What we do
Most companies pick a side. We have run cleaning and restoration together since 1987, which is why the person who cleans your carpet in March is the person who knows what is under it in November.

Cleaning
Hot water extraction with a citrus pre-spray and a soft water rinse, which is what actually lifts soil out of the pile instead of pushing it around inside it. Pet stains get treated as a subfloor problem, because that is usually where they are.

The bench
Hand-woven and heirloom rugs come off the floor and onto the bench for a 17-step process: inspection, photo documentation, dusting, color-fastness test, then wash, rinse, forced-air dry, fringe correction and secure rolling.

Air
A trailer-mounted, HEPA-filtered negative air system with an eight inch hose into the trunk lines, agitated with whips and brushes. Every three to five years for most houses, sooner after a renovation.

Restoration
Extraction first, then thermal imaging and moisture meters to find the water you cannot see, then structural drying. A dry carpet over a wet pad is a mold job in three weeks, so we dry the assembly, not the surface.

Restoration
Inspection and testing before removal, always. Containment and HEPA air control, because remediation without containment moves the problem rather than ending it, then the moisture source gets fixed so it does not come back.

Restoration
Board-up and tarps the same night, then assessment and documentation. Smoke and soot are chemistry, so they come out with thermal fogging and hydroxyl generators rather than deodorizer, and contents can be packed out and cleaned off site.
Named in the reviews
Two customers, five months apart, wrote in and named the same technician. A third named Charlie for how the job was explained and cleaned up afterwards. That is a small thing and it is the whole business.
“Billy did a fantastic job on our carpet. He is the best! We have used other services, and thought our carpet could not look clean. However, after Billy came, our carpet looks marvelous! It has totally exceeded our expectations. It had been about two weeks and the carpet still looks wonderful. Thank you, Billy!”
“Billy went above and beyond what we had hoped for in making our dirty old carpets presentable for a showing as we try to sell our house! He worked so hard to get out stains and lots of cat hair!”
“They really communicate well. From day one to arriving and finishing up. I always knew what was going on. Job was done fast and they did great at cleanup! Technician Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable! Also their prices were very very good! Would use them again!”

Two states, two offices
Twenty towns across southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, covered from two real addresses rather than one call center. Byron, Kasson, Stewartville, Owatonna, Austin, Albert Lea, Winona and Northfield out of Rochester. Onalaska, La Crescent, Sparta, Tomah and Viroqua out of La Crosse.
Before you call
If yours is not here, (507) 580-0580 reaches the office during the week and the on-call crew the rest of the time.

That line has been on our trucks since the eighties and we have never had a good reason to soften it. Book a cleaning, or call the emergency line and someone picks up.
